As some of you know, we’ve had a Just Joans album in the works for a little while, and we’re extremely excited to announce that it’s now finished, ready to go, aaaaand available to pre-order.

If you squint your eyes a little, this could be considered the Just Joans first full-length. The majority of the tracks here appeared in a different form on “Last Tango In Motherwell”, a CD album released back in 2005 when the band was simply David and Chris.

Now, completely reworked into a pop concept album set in late 90s Scotland, ‘Buckfast Bottles in the Rain’, is everything you’ve come to expect of the Just Joans, complete with gorgeous artwork by Katie Pope.

As usual, it’s a limited run of 500 copies, each hand assembled and numbered.
Oh, and did I mention it’s WeePOP!’s first 12″ record?

The Just Joans are playing an album launch show in Glasgow on March 30th at Heavenly with support from The Power Cut Choir and The Hector Collectors; and hopefully a London show very soon as well.

**UPDATE: Due to Heavenly closing down, a last minute venue change was made. The album launch will now be Downstairs in The Admiral Bar on 72 Waterloo Street (near Central Station). Friday 30th, from 9-12pm**

One of the mail orders that stocks weePOP! has just sent us some old stock back, and amongst it, a couple of copies of releases that have been sold out in our own shop for a long time now: One Happy Island’s Secret Party 7″, Stars of Aviation’s By the Shore 3″ CD, Secret Charisma’s Original Cast Recording 3″ CD and Kuma’s Hello, My Name’s Kuma 3″ CD.

So they are back in our releases page, but we only have one or two copies of each, so if you missed it the first time round and want one, get it NOW.

While looking at our stock, we also realized we only have a handful of T-shirts left, which have now been reduced to £5 to clear!
